- 5-1 Speedway Promoter PC game. What happened to this game, it was talked about in Speedway circles as the next big thing, but never got off the ground. Did it run into copyright issues with the Speedway hierarchy, I think that was the issue. But I also seem to recall they were going to issue a game where you could create your own riders.
In Boxing Manager, players follow in the footsteps of legendary boxing promoters like Don King, as they make their way to the top of the business. Starting out with a small stable and just a single unknown fighter, he will be able to train and manage up to 20 fighters at the same time, as he aims for the championship titles in 3 federations and several weight classes.
Negotiate with locations, media, boxers, trainers and staff, as you set up bouts and promote them, juggling advertsising costs and income. The player supervises training, determines the strategy for upcoming fights and can adjust technique and tactics in detail between rounds.
With increased funds, he can sign better boxers and better staff, in order to be able to set up bigger and better live events for your fighters and market them to the public via TV, radio and other avenues. The slick menus, realistic 3D bouts and faithful, motion-captured animations guarantee for authentic boxing atmosphere throughout. In addition, the in-game editor allows you to create new fighters and individually determine their looks, as well as their strengths and weaknesses.

Simulates a wide variety of meetings from rider names and averages entered by the user. A number of popular meeting formats (e.g. BEL/BPL matches, 3/4/5 Team Tournaments, Pairs Competitions and Individual Competitions) are included, but a scripting language allows the creation of new meetings and the customisation of existing ones. Meetings may be run automatically; or interactively with up to nine players competing against each other or the computer. An editor is also included that allows team line-ups to be loaded directly from a database.
